Best Application Methods for Algae Control Products
- Liquid Treatments: Dilloute with water and spray evenly for full coverage (best for green water and large areas)using a pump or mechanical sprayer
- Granular Treatments: Broadcast directly over algae mats for direct contact
- Spot Treatment: Target problem areas instead of entire pond. Only spray where needed.
- Partial Treatment: Treat 1/3–1/2 of pond at a time when algae is heavy to ensure dissolved oxygen does not crash.
- Surfactants: Improves product uptake from plants and Algae giving your treatments an added boost for more effectiveness.
