Description
This Zinc Anode is a sacrificial corrosion-protection component designed to protect your Kasco motor's stainless-steel hardware when operating in saltwater or other highly conductive environments. The zinc slowly erodes (sacrifices itself) instead of the motor shaft or other metal parts, helping prevent rust, pitting, and long-term damage. It is mounted directly on the shaft and is an inexpensive, easily replaceable part of routine maintenance for Kasco de-icers, surface aerators, AquatiClear water circulators, and fountains.
- 1/2HP, 3/4HP and 1HP units all utilize a 1/2" I.D. anode
- 2HP, 3HP, 5HP and 7.5HP units all utilize a 5/8" I.D. anode
