Green Clean Granular Algaecide
Green Clean™ Granular is a ready to use algaecide designed to treat, control, and prevent a broad spectrum of planktonic and filamentous algae, in fish ponds, water gardens, fountains or earthen ponds with Goldfish, Koi, or Trout. For best results apply Green Clean early in the season before Algae is well-established and when good contact can be made. Green Clean granular can be broadcast with a hand spreader or dissolved in water and sprayed over the water surface on the target algae. Effects of Green Clean treatment are immediately apparent (bubbling, bleaching/discoloration of algae, floating dead organic matter).

Turn off circulation prior to application, and turn it back on after 20 minutes.
Warmer water will enhance its overall effectiveness.

easy and good. Problem was getting the container open the first time. I had to use a hammer and a stick of wood. There was also a red trigger that when you close the screw on lid, then to open it again you have to press the red trigger to allow the top to screw off. The red trigger was not in the box or on the lid.
The best product ever!!!
This is a great product. I have been using it for 15yrs. If you use it right, it works like a charm and cleans everything up in less than a few days. First, turn off your pond pump. Sprinkle this product in your pond, use the amount required for your pond gallon size. Let the product set for 15 to 20 minutes. Then turn back on your pond pump. Some heavy algae will turn white. Now, while the water is running, you may have to help scrub the algae off the rocks. I use an old broom pole with a kitchen scrub brush duct taped to the end. scrub the rocks and things should clean up in a few days. you may have to change your filter a few times. but that water will be crystal clear in no more than a week. do this when outdoor temps are in the low 80's and no more than 95 degrees. follow these instructions and i guarantee you will be very pleased you purchased it!! I ordered a small amount to see if it would work in a small area. I put out a good amount in the area and I can't tell any difference at all. I put a very heavy amount in another area and it turned some of it white. It was a waste of money for me.
