Great for all Emergent weeds!
CATT-PLEX Liquid with glyphosate is a broad spectrum, root killing, systemic herbicide. Controls a broad spectrum of floating and emergent weeds in and around surface waters. Applied directly to exposed foliage, CATT-PLEX Liquid is absorbed by the weed, killing the roots and all. Effective on weeds which have most of their foliage above water. Will not work on submersed (underwater) weeds.
Initial results occur in 2 to 4 days. Results begin with wilting and yellowing followed by full browning of plant. Well established heavy growth will require 1 to 3 weeks to show results.
Apply CATT-PLEXLiquid in mid to late season. Best results are obtained when applied to actively growing, well developed foliage. A six hour rain free period following application is required for proper herbicide absorption. Effective control of most green vegetation.
Use 1 to 3 ounces of CATT-PLEX Liquid and 2 oz. of the manufacturer recommended non-ionic surfactant, Cide-Kick II, per one gallon of water. (see technical Specs for mixture rates)
Apply with a handheld or backpack style sprayer. Wet foliage, but not to the point of runoff, from the ground to the top of the plant for best results.
Coverage with CATT-PLEX Liquid varies depending on the type of weed treated and density of growth. Typically 1 quart will cover approximately 25,000 square feet of treatment area, dependent upon density of target vegitation. Well established perennial weeds, such as Cattails, Phragmites and Water Lilies, may require a second treatment in 3 weeks.
